Another new book published: Journey through the Philippines

April 2017

Published in March 2017 by Oxford-based publisher John Beaufoy Publishing, Journey through the Philippines is Nigel’s latest Philippines book. With an entertaining and informative text, richly illustrated with over 300 of his photos, the book takes the reader on a tour of the Philippines, travelling roughly from north to south, and visiting 30 of the country’s visitor locations.

Places visited range from cities and cultural sites to remote smouldering volcanoes and dense rainforests, to stunning white coral sand beaches.

The book is available globally both in store and online, and can be bought from this website.

Wild Southwest is published!

Oct 2016

Right on schedule, Nigel’s newest book, Wild Southwest, is published! Over the coming weeks it will slowly be appearing in many bookshops and online stores, including this site right now.

We’re rather biased of course, but we think the book looks fantastic - exactly as we had hoped it would look. Thanks to all the hard work by our designer (Andy Jones) and our printers (PWGS, Singapore) to make the book look so great.

Wild Southwest’s full retail price is £14.99, but as an introductory offer you can buy it here for £12.95, with free delivery within the UK.

A new set of high art quality prints now available!

Oct 2016

To coincide with the publication of Wild Southwest, Nigel Hick’s latest book, we’ve produced a whole new set of high quality prints that you can buy. Consisting of three sets, covering Landscapes of Southwest of England, Wildlife, and Global Landscapes, many of these new prints reflect the contents of Wild Southwest. In short, if you see an image in the book you like you might well be able to get a print of it.

Wild Southwest soon to be published

Sept 2016

Nigel Hicks’s 16th book, and Aquaterra Publishing’s first venture into book publishing, will hit the shops early in October! Showcasing the fantastic natural landscapes and wildlife (both plant and animal) of southwest England, Wild Southwest will be richly illustrated by over 300 of Nigel’s stunning photographs, covering coastal beaches to moorland tors and woodlands, and from bluebells to basking sharks.

While 95% of the book’s images are by Nigel Hicks, the remaining, covering the southwest’s submarine environment, have been provided by Paul Naylor and Colin Munro, both well-established southwest-based marine photographers.

To celebrate the launch of Wild Southwest, we’ll be running some prize giveaways, so watch this space for more information!
