An exploration of some of the Philippines’ most beautiful places
Published in March 2017, this is one of Nigel’s many books about the Philippines, all published by Oxford-based publisher John Beaufoy Publishing.
A beautiful, photo-led coffee table book, Journey through the Philippines takes the reader on a tour through the archipelago, travelling roughly from north to south and along the way visiting 30 of the Philippines’ most beautiful and most important visitor locations.
The 30 locations vary from stunning white coral sand beaches, to smouldering volcanoes and dense tropical rainforests, and include a number of historic and cultural sites, such as a number of important museums, historic Spanish churches and entire preserved Spanish-era urban districts.
Nigel’s evocative text is richly illustrated by his own stunning photography that really brings the country to life.
